Rose Gold Makeup

My rose gold obsession started with jewelry and now, apparently, extends to makeup too! I took a look through my makeup drawer to see if I could come up with a complete makeup look featuring rose gold beauty...and voila! Today's post! Keep on scrolling to see what I used to create this glowy, glamorous look (pssst you'll be able to find almost all the products I used at super affordable prices, at London Drugs!).

First, let's talk skincare. I've been using this beautiful new skincare collection from Marcelle, Revival+ Skin Renewal, and while it's actually formulated for those aged 45+, I figured hey, it's never too late to start, right?? I actually loved the Smoothing Eye Contour the most. While I don't think I have a lot of aging around my eyes just yet, I really enjoyed the applicator of this product to soothe my eyes. The ceramic applicator feels nice and cool on the skin, as your apply the contour cream under your eyes. If you're looking for an eye cream that's soothing and fights the signs of aging, I think this would be a great choice!

The Marcelle Revival+ Day Cream is also great to use in tandem with the Eye Contour. The formula is nice and rich, but not at all oily. The formula encourages skin regeneration, for fresher, more radiant looking skin.So regardless of if you're looking to fight wrinkles, your skin will look healthier and brighter! The one I have is also for dry skin, which is a bonus because I've been dealing with some really pesky dry spots. It's great to see that this cream doesn't just combat aging, but dry skin too!

Plus, how can you say no to that gorgeous rose gold packaging??

Ah, the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. I was very intrigued by the fact that only one shade of this lip luminizer was released: a supposed 'universal' shade. And you know what? It really is worth the hype (and the price tag), in my opinion. I've been wearing it bare on my lips, and it gives the juiciest, rose gold glimmer to your lips. It really does enhance your normal lips! I've also used it over top of some of my neutral lipsticks, and that works great too, to enhance the look of my lip colour.

I was introduced to this Covergirl truNAKED Eyeshadow Palette in Jewels at the London Drugs Beauty Event, and can't get enough of the range of colours here...especially the rose gold shade! For my eye look in this post, I used the light pink (second from the left) as a base, and then the beautiful shimmery rose gold shade (third from the left) over top. It's a gorgeous look that isn't too over the top - you can definitely wear it day or night.

Here, I present the most GORGEOUS highlighter. I have so much respect for Makeup Revolution when it comes to highlighters. Seriously, they are experts at creating the most fantastic highlighters. I've been using their Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights for a year, and I highly recommend it. It has the most gorgeous golden glow. So when I heard at the London Drugs Beauty Event that Makeup Revolution now has Liquid Highlighters, I knew I had to try them! This rosy shade, Starlight, is the perfect shimmery compliment to a rose gold makeup look. And seriously, the finish is incredible. I just take a drop or two, and dab with my fingers along the cheekbones. Your cheekbones will pop like never before!!

And there you have it! Everything you need for this rose gold makeup look. Got questions about application? Just leave me a comment below!

Happy Styling! xo
