I used to go to...Wow, great finds at Value Village! I used to go to the one on Victoria Drive and 49th (local Vancouverite here as well!) and it's always such a fun experience when I go in. I didn't start thrifting until a couple of years ago and still new to it but I agree - you can't go in with high expectations! I was also told that thrifting takes patience if you want to find a nice steal.
