Monochrome Grey Winter Outfit

Here's one of the easiest trends to master this winter: the monochromatic look! No worries about trying to match prints & colours here. Just stick to one or two shades as best you can.

I picked up these pants out at Zara a while back, and I have been dying to wear them casually, with my pair of Stan Smith Sneakers. There's something about the juxtaposition between businesswear and laidback style that I love. Plus, it's a whole lot comfier that regular businesswear (no starchy button-down and high heels here!). The sweater was an awesome find from Winners - I've been looking for ways to incorporate the bell-sleeve trend, and the bows on this were a total added bonus.

This monochrome look can really apply to any kind of outfit. In fact, matching holiday outfits is also a big trend. Think matching your coat to your dress. That would usually be a bit of a faux pas (although, honestly I'm not one for be-all-end-all fashion rules), but now it's definitely a winning look.
