Shop The Blogger Closet Sale

If you're a fashionista in Vancouver, keep on reading, because believe me, you do not want to miss this!

I've been spending the last few weeks gradually pairing down my wardrobe (haha ok the bf would contest that...apparently the closet doesn't look phased) for the Shop the Blogger Closet Sale, which is happening this Sunday, April 16th! It's a chance for you to refresh your wardrobe in an eco-friendly way that also supports a great cause: Because I Am A Girl. Along with the other bloggers, I'll be donating partial proceeds to their charity. Feel-good shopping for the win!

Everything I have for sale ranges from $5 - $15, so to say there are some good deals is an understatement! And there's lots more than what you see above. I filled 2 hugs bags full of clothing and shoes, so there will be plenty more surprise finds at the sale!

#STBC: Shop The Blogger Closet Sale

On March 29th, we set up shop at Frontier Luxury Flooring in Vancouver for the first-ever Shop the Blogger Closet Sale! We have over 300 shoppers pass through the pop-up shop, even with the torrential downpour that was happening that weekend. Wow! And it was pretty exciting to see our pre-loved items being sold to wonderful new owners.

 Stephanie Trembath, blogger of Minimalist-St.Me and founder of the STBC sale collaborated with UBC's Social Work Program to raise money for a small community in Arviat, Nunavut, and together we raised over $500 for the Young Hunters Program! The proceeds will go towards funding staff and materials to educate the Arviat community on environmental health and economic vitality.

The whole event smelled totally amazing thanks to Vancouver Candle Co., who set up shop at the event as well. I went over and of course had to sniff every single candle (you can never have enough candles), and must say my favourite was definitely the Fairview, a sharp citrus scent with a hint of sweetness.

#STBC: Shop the Blogger Closet Sale

This Sunday, March 29th from 11am - 3pm I'll be selling off my clothes with 9 other Vancouver style bloggers at the Shop the Blogger Closet Sale, hosted by Stephanie Trembath of MINIMAL-ST.ME. Now believe me, it's usually pretty hard for me to part with my clothes, but the closet just won't allow for more space, so I've bundled together 9 bags of clothing and shoes that will be up for sale at the event.

And because fashion events are always also social affairs, there will also be a bake sale, photobooth, and pop-up shop featuring Vancouver Candle Company and I See Noise Prints. Happy Water has kindly offered to keep us hydrated during the sale, and Daily Secret is also sponsoring the event! Plus, of course, you have a chance to meet all 10 of us bloggers in person, chat about personal style, and shop our closets!
