One of the beauty finds I was most exited about finding on my Eurotrip was this Limited Edition Birchbox x Galeries LaFayette, which you guessed it, I found at the famed department store Galeries LaFayette in Paris! To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of shopping there. I hadn't done any research into what stores or brands were inside, I had just seen photos of the incredible interior, with massive high ceilings and the most ornately decorated walls.
For the most part Galeries LaFayette was very expensive. Your usual high end stores, with prices in the hundreds if not thousands. It was fun to window shop, but I didn't think I would find anything to buy. A few floors up though, I did end up finding a few brands with some much more afforable options - ended up buying a little black dress there for 60 Euros and it's super cute! Eventually we continued up to the top floor, where we found all their holiday and gifting items on display. I was in heaven!! They had an entire section dedicated to Etsy sellers, and we found the most amazing and unique gifts there. I ended up spotting this Limited Edition Birchbox x Galeries LaFayette box in that section, and was absolutely gleeful when I took a peek at what was inside! I've never bought a Birchbox before (they're a beauty subscription box), but it definitely seemed like a pretty good box, with a decent variety of products, and some really sweet finds too! And it was all just 20 Euros.
Inside, there was a tiny Chloé perfume - this was probably my favourite part, I absolutely love the scent! The rose gold bracelet, by Birchbox, was also another favourite. Such a nice delicate design with 'Live. Laugh. Love.' engraved on it. I was also really excited to see that there was a Galeries LaFayette nail polish inside! A pretty charcoal grey, perfect for fall, and a nice souvenir from Galeries LaFayette. While I'm not usually big on moisturizers and hand creams, I've also become more than partial to the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Care: it has a nice scent, and it's greasy at all. I think the only product that was a flop for me was the Erborian CC Crème. As per usual with CC creams, it's too dark for my skintone. If you have a medium skintone though, it would probably be fine.
