We happened upon a Pixi Beauty makeup boutique when searching the streets of Soho for a place to eat in London. There are very few things that will get between me and food, and apparently makeup is one of them! I recognized the sign on the outside of the shop, having seen the brand Pixi in Target stores (during their brief period in Canada). We popped inside, and to our delight, they just happened to be having a little shopping party! Cupcakes, champagne, and deals on makeup. What a perfect night to stumble upon this shop!
After taking a fairly lengthy look through everything in the store (my bad..we were pretty hungry still...), I ended up back in front of this set of holiday-themed loose eyeshadow pigments: Fairy Dust Favourites in Metallic Warmth. They looked incredible on display - perfect for the holidays when we got back home! I figured they would look great as-is, or as glam eyeliner using my Lise Watier Metamorfix. I've swatched them below so you can see the beautiful pigmented shimmery shades, and the gold, which looks like molten gold when mixed with a drop of Metamorfix!
With the holidays just a couple short weeks away, the parties are already in full swing, so I've shared some photos from one of my holiday party looks below (stay tuned for the outfit post!). I used the coppery-golden Metallic Warmth shade all over my lids and the darker shimmery brown in the outer corners. They're so easy to blend! And the colour payoff was intense. Take a peek below...
