Last Weeks of Summer: Seersucker Dress

Summer ain't over yet! I'm making the most of my summer wardrobe right now, while we still have a few weeks of summer left. One of the popular prints in my wardrobe is the seersucker print, which you saw earlier this summer in this post. I love the retro look of the seersucker print, and this particular dress has a super cute cut out and detailed sweetheart neckline. Seersucker always looks great with tan and beige colours like my hat and heels. A little tan belt would look cute with 

I might miss wearing some of these dresses once the weather starts to cool off here, but to be honest, I'm pretty excited for fall fashion! I actually don't usually feel the need to shop much for the first bit of fall, because I'm just so excited to pull out my old clothes from last fall: it feels like their brand new all over again! But until the weather changes to fall-like conditions, I'm happy to get as much wear out of my summer dresses as possible.

Thrifty Thursday

It turned out to be a very fruitful trip to the thrift store this week! I am very excited to put these pieces into my closet rotation.

At the end of your thrifting trip, don't forget to take a peek at the jewelry in the case at the cashier's counter! This stunning statement necklace was an absolute bargain- and only because one of the chains along the back had come undone. A few minutes with a set of pliers and it was good as new.

Ah, the super cute summer dress. There are so many variations of it, but I find this to be the quintessential beach-side frock. It's partially the striped blue print and partially the cut along the bust and back that make this dress so perfect for the season. Picture it with some small white sneakers and a straw fedora.

The photo just doesn't do this skirt justice. It's a beautiful shade of jade in a great quality material with a feminine pencil skirt cut. It's going to be a killer staple item for office-wear.
