Cozy Pastels to Transition to Spring

Haha oh boy, where's your anti-static brush when you need it?? Just ignore all the insane flyaways in these photos - I was having a hell of a time getting my hair to cooperate. Has anyone else still been have this problem lately?

While I'm excited that Spring is officially here, I'm still constantly reminded that the weather isn't really like what's in all the advertisements lately. I see images of cute shorts, tank tops and light jackets everywhere, but honestly, most days are still pretty chilly especially when the sun is hiding. So when I spotted this pastel J Crew sweater in Value Village, I thought it would be the perfect way to bring some Spring into my wardrobe without shivering my butt off!

I don't talk a lot about my work here on this blog, but as a PR consultant, I sometimes have to run out for coffee meetings, which unlike meetings in an office setting, are a bit more casual in nature. They can be a bit tricky to decide what to wear to, but this is a pretty good example of what I would wear to such meetings. I have my black jeans on here, but I've dressed them up with the patent loafers, embellished collar dickey, and classic long coat. I also like to throw on one of my pairs of glasses sometimes, although truth be told, I really only need them while in front of a computer to keep my eyes from getting tired!

Happy Styling! xo
