Red and green have always been my favourite colours. And with Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day practically back-to-back, I'm a pretty happy camper when it comes to outfit styling this time of year.
I've had this green plaid dress for a few years now, and it's still one of my favourites. It's the perfect way to wear some green on St. Patrick's Day, without feeling like you're doing a super cheesy St. Paddy's outfit. But I suppose the giant bow is a bit cheesy...but cheesy cute right?? If you're looking to snatch up this dress, you better do it quick - according to Chicwish's website, there's only two left!! The best part? The fabric is so nice and thick, that I don't need to wear a jacket on top.
The only issue with having your favourite colours being both green and red, is that I often run the risk of wearing 'Christmas colours'. But sometimes I just say "the hell with it" and do it anyways! This little red purse just pops so nicely against the dark green tartan. And I think that's what helps keep this outfit from looking too Christmasy - dark green seems to be less problematic than bright green in that respect.
Anyhow, I hope you all have a festive St. Patrick's Day, decked out in your best green attire!
