Graphic Sweaters: A Must-Have in Your Closet

You're probably already familiar with the 'graphic tee' - simply put, a t-shirt with some form of graphics on it. Usually, I'm drawn to the ones with phrases in French or Italian. They go great with pretty much anything, and can easily dress down an outfit. I love wearing them with a feminine skirt, or a leather jacket. Graphic tees are a must in my closet, but in the winter time, I don't wear t-shirts much. Then I spotted this cute 'Ciao' sweater at Value Village! It's the perfect way to wear a graphic top in the winter that offers a bit more warmth.

I've linked a few 'Ciao' graphic tees and sweaters at the bottom of this post, if you're inspired to add one to your wardrobe too. Might I suggest styling with a beret? I went for some serious preppy vibes with this outfit. A thrifted Burberry-style scarf, a navy pea coat, wide leg pants with cold button detailing...and a classic red lip.

Spring is just around the corner, but it's not here quite yet, so stay warm!

Winter Outfit Inspiration: Cozy Poncho

I almost made it through Black Friday and Cyber Monday without buying anything...until I somehow stumbled upon a coat and this poncho on Modcloth...and well, I lost my will power. But I'm so happy I did, because I absolutely love this Cabin Fervor Poncho! And it's gotten quite a few compliments too. It's like wearing a nice, cozy blanket everywhere you go. Especially with a nice cozy cable knit sweater underneath, it was perfect for a chilly afternoon.

Blanket scarves, capes, and ponchos are definitely the name of my style game this season! Have you tried any of these styles yet? They're part of my super easy winter uniform: cape/poncho/blanket, plus sweater, jeans and ankle boots.

Look of the Week: Chic Winterwear

I definitely feel like a snow bunny in this outfit! Where are the snow-capped mountains?? Maybe I'll finally be able to use my snowboard at least once this season if I'm lucky, in the meantime, I'll have to make do with outfits like this.

Of course, there had to be a little sparkle here somewhere, so I pulled out my embellished Aldo beanie, and my Nobis & Grey statement necklace: even my thrifted sweater has sequins on it! In the second to last photo, you'll notice I even added some sparkly new earrings from Nobis & Grey that I am currently obsessing over. Isn't the design cool?? They're called ear jackets, and can come in all kinds of different designs from pearls to spikes. If you add one new accessory to your daily look this year, it should be these!

If you're planning on an outing to the ice rink, this would be the perfect outfit! (You'll notice my little booties from Zellers even look the part).
