Spring Inspiration Board

Since it actually SNOWED here today...it's seriously necessary to start thinking about spring. Positive thinking, right??? Here's some more spring inspiration to follow up the previous Look of the Week! Those pastel colours are everywhere. Throw on a cozy sweater to make the transition a little easier, and start wearing those sheer pale beauties sooner!

Look of the Week & DIY skirt: Spring Pastels

While it still feels pretty chilly around here, spring colours are starting to appear all over the shops and blogs nowadays! So here's some spring inspiration: pastel hues! To make the transition from winter to spring a bit easier, mix those great spring colours with some thicker tights and some 3/4 length sleeves. I threw on a cozy, loose-fitting sweater on later when it got too cold while studying.

The skirt you see here is actually a DIY project (2 in one week?!?). It's an old skirt that belonged to my Nana, which she gave to me to work into my wardrobe. It used to be MUCH longer than this...I took some liberties with the hemline. Then I took some of the extra fabric and made it into the bow you now see on the front! The skirt already had a really sweet back to it; it has cute buttons all the way down. And no, believe me, I checked to make sure I didn't have it on backwards!

I think I was feeling very girly today...hence the bows. The bow in my hair is from when I was like 5. I think I like it even better now

Happy Styling!
