Thrifty Thursday: summer colours

No, don't worry you're not losing it; it's Friday today, not Thursday. It's been hard adjusting to a new schedule and it appears it's going to take a little while to readjust and become productive again. So here is your slightly delayed Thrifty Thursday:

I've been deprived of thrift shopping lately, so I went a little crazy when I finally got a couple hours at Salvation Army and Value Village this week. Apparently I'm really starting to feel more summery with the better weather we've been having, because I picked up a whole lot of colour! These were the most colour pieces I picked out:

I loved this skirt the second I spotted it. The colours are just so amazing and the length and fabric are perfect for the transition from spring to summer. It'll be great with a simple tank top.

Store: Value Village
Section: Skirts
Brand: Unknown
Price I Paid: $9.99

Colour blocking is huge this season, and this is a great shirt to do that with. This could easily be paired with a bright, solid-coloured skirt.

Store: Value Village
Section: Sleeveless shirts
Brand: UK2LA (Urban Planet)
Price I Paid: $9.99
What it's Worth: ~ $25

I don't have a lot of teal in my closet, but I really like this shad and the way the dress is draped. The empire waist is always a flattering design too.

Store: Salvation Army
Section: Dresses
Brand: Charming Charlie
Price I paid: $3.99
What it's Worth: ?

If you guys are thrifting, what are you finding for summer?

Happy Styling! xo
