I have some very exciting news to share with all of you! I want you all to know how much I appreciate all the votes and support you graciously shared with me in the running for VFW's Next Runway Correspondent contest. I am honoured to announce that your support paid off, and I have been named the VFW Runway Correspondent!
It's been a whirlwind these last 17 hours, as Fashion Week starts tonight and there is much to do to prepare. The Opening Gala kicks off the week at Five Sixty on Seymour tonight and me and the VFW team will be there to interview guests and get an inside look at all the happenings. Each night we will be posting a similar video from the runway at VFW and you can catch up on the nights' events on the VFW2013 youtube page. As well, I will be updating this blog as well as the VFW blog with a rundown of the designers, the people, the fashion at each day at Vancouver Fashion Week.
I hope to see many of you at tonight's Opening Gala, and if you can't make it, be sure to check out the VFW youtube channel to keep in the loop.
