Thrifty Thursday

A bit of a change this week...there was quite a bit of colour in my shopping cart!

The ruffled front and back of this shirt caught my eye, along with the fact that it's in my favourite colour! And then I looked a little closer and saw the pretty beaded back: even better!

Thrift stores aren't like stores in the mall; while most of the time they keep things seasonal, you'll get those few summer items thrown in too. So even though my mind is set on winter clothes right now, if I see something like the Zara dress below, I still snatch it up (I'll be grateful come summer!).

I am starting to learn that one can never have too many sweaters. Especially when they in every variety: soft, chunky, loose, tight, plain, patterned...this one in particular is great for a refined lazy Sunday.
