Look of the Week: Coffee Girl

I was inspired this week to wear some girly tulle after pouring over Paris-based Cee of Coco and Vera's latest post, where she wore a classy grey tea length tulle skirt. Mine is actually a thrifted dress, but I thought a contrasting colour on top would be better than the all-black dress on its own. To keep consistent with the girliness of the skirt, I picked my recently thrifted H&M sweater with scalloped neckline and bow pockets.

Camel and black is a great classic colour combination that works great with red accents (like red lipstick) Another cute way to wear the combo would be black opaque tights with a camel pea coat over top (which I definitely would have worn if I had one!). This colour combo also works well with cheetah print, because it doesn't look as harsh with the similar colours of black and camel.

Shirt-H&M(thrifted), Dress(here worn as a skirt)-Miley Cyrus for Max Azria(thrifted), Glasses-Fendi(via Costco), Bow Hairpin-H&M, Necklace- Richmond Night Market, Tights-Betsey Johnson(via Winners), Flats-Bolaro(from Santa Monica, CA), Purse- fake Louis Vuitton (thrifted)

Happy Styling! xo

  1. As i post on FB page :
Yes, very nice contrast between camel and black. Camel brings luminosity, as well with the red lipstick. The background is in harmony with the look. It could be interesting to highlight the look with a contrasting background.

Otherwise, very nice detail : "La Tour Eiffel"
