Sometimes when you go thrifting, it's a bit of hit and miss...this week was definitely a hit! I've been trying to find some statement pieces for fashion week, and I feel victorious about the leather dress I found. That one is definitely making the list!
I was not totally sold on the ruffled bottom, but the tied one-shoulder is to die for! It gives a very dramatic touch to an otherwise average party dress. If you're handy with a sewing machine, you could definitely add a similar chiffon sash to a strapless dress. Just sew one strips to the front, one to the back, and tie!

Spring time means the return of the florals! A pastel sheer blouse would be a perfect addition to this skirt.

The pièce de résistance: a faux-leather dress from Armani Exchange! The zipper is broken, but I am getting fixed in time for Vancouver Fashion Week! I have big plans for this one: neon yellow accessories and heels and a jewelled statement necklace...you'll see soon enough.
