Look of the Week: Chanel-inspired Colours

Inspired by the likeness of Chanel, my outfit this week is based on the very classic palette of cream and black. I've encorporated the hot peplum trend into this outfit, but its black colour keeps it looking refined.

If you're a big fan of blazers, try swapping out your usual cotton one for one with a cotton/wool blend (like my thrifted BCBG blazer here) to keep you warmer as the temperature starts to really drop. Keep extra cozy by tossing on a thick knitted infinity scarf. Want to sweeten the look? Bows and cameos will do the trick! It's all in the accessories.

You'll notice I don't fight the whiteness; many people start panicking this time of year about losing their 'summer glow'. Try something new for a change: ignore the hype and make that porcelain complexion shine! It's better for your skin, too :)

Shirt-H&M (thrifted), Skirt-Vero Moda (thrifted), Belt-Costa Blanca, Necklace-Richmond Night Market, Blazer-BCBG (thrifted), Umbrella-Little White House, Purse-Oasap, Heels- Le Chateau
Happy Styling! xo

  2. Your outfit is absolutely adorable. Love the look. Although, I am a bit worried about your feet in those shoes with the ridiculous amount of rain we have had this week.

  3. A little Chanel inspiration will never steer you wrong :) I love all of the bow details in this look, especially your belt and that bright red bag. But I think what I love most is your gorgeous red hair. The colour suits you so well!
